The Central Park Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce their theatre educational program “Drama Essentials for Kids.” Weekly sessions will be held throughout the fall will introduce children to the art of acting, using specific tools and lesson plans to help develop their growth as young actors. The eight-week program is open to children between 8 and 13 years old.
Join veteran stage performers Paul Buzine and Kathy McCabe in this one-of-a-kind class that will take you through everything you need to know about creating your own concert, from negotiating with venues and show promotion to song selection and choreography. As part of the experience, each student will perform a 60-min show.
Do you love to sing? Then you should join our singing group! Exploring various delivery methods from choral to glee and everything in between, this group will get you singing with like-minded individuals. Each session will feature a proper vocal warm up, a healthy dose of music theory and all the singing you can handle! All levels welcome.

Dwight Icenhower – The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Dwight Icenhower began his Elvis career by singing karaoke at a local fair when he was just 16 years old. Having studied every move that Elvis made, he has mastered the 50's, 60's, and 70's eras of Elvis' career. He has performed all over the United States as well as in England, Brazil, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Mexico and has toured Japan several times. The Authentics 60’s Beach Bash with the SoCal Sounds of the Beach Boys and More Don’t miss this authentic tribute to one of the most influential movements of the mid 1960’s … The Southern California Sound. Led by the Beach Boys, this style of music took over the whole country for a few years. Come relive that special moment in time as the Authentics recreate it with their tight vocal harmonies. Anton Doran – The Piano Men of Rock Described as “a cross between Billy Joel, Elton John, John Denver & James Taylor,” Anton Doran is the ultimate tribute artist. In addition to trying to connect with the audience, he gives careful attention to not only the music, but also the character he’s playing.
