Would you like to learn archery? Join Coach Joseph Pike, a Level-3 United States Archery Association Archery Instructor, for this beginner adult archery class. You’ll learn to safely handle and shoot an arrow with a bow, increase hand-eye coordination, strengthen your upper body, improve your focus and confidence, and have loads of fun.
Registration required by 5p the day before class begins.
$70/$140 per month First time class participants must be there 45 minutes before start of class so that instructor can give you an overview before physically using bows.
Presented by Largo Police Senior Services Division and Connecting Caregivers, this seminar will feature caregiver resources and tips for both caregivers and seniors.
The seminar will include Respite/Adult Daycare provided courtesy of Neighborly, including door-to-door transportation for Caregivers' loved ones.

Improve your safety and comfort behind the wheel. This program is designed to help seniors adjust their "CarFit" in order to reduce their risk of injury during a crash by making the proper adjustments for comfort and safety. This process is only about 15 minutes long and you can even stay in your car for convenience! Preregister by calling (727) 518-3131.

Spread the Holiday cheer with your own personal fresh floral centerpiece. You'll create a beautiful arrangement to grace your holiday table or mantle. All supplies are included.
Spark your child’s interest in STEM and have lots of fun in this one-hour class meant to explore how the world uses robotics and get hands-on experience interacting with Sphero robots, Ozobots, and more. This class is intended as an introduction to robotics to encourage creative problem-solving and exploration for those who may be interested but have never taken a robotics class before. Now is the time to try it out! All equipment will be provided and the instructor will help with where you can purchase your own kit at the end of class to continue at home.
Registration is required by February 15 at 5p. Cost: $7 per person

Unleash your inner detective and unravel the mysteries of Nature. Every month a new mystery will be investigated. Fun explorations will be had with activities that surround a topic. Detectives that are ages 5 & 6 require an adult detective partner that must pay admission. Preregistration is strongly recommended. Space is limited.
Learn the basics of caring for children such as feeding infants and toddlers, changing diapers, first aid, CPR and choking rescue. Fee includes the Safe Sitter manual and completion card.

Paul Bosacki is a teacher and tutor for 31 years in reading, writing and grades K-3 math. Parents, if you feel your child could use a little help to get them to where they need to be contact Mr. B for a consultation on what your child's needs are. A schedule will be worked that's best for you and your child. All tutoring will be held at Southwest or Highland Recreation during open business hours. Tutoring session will be for one hour and group sessions are available with a max of three.
