Join veteran stage performers Paul Buzine and Kathy McCabe in this one-of-a-kind class that will take you through everything you need to know about creating your own concert, from negotiating with venues and show promotion to song selection and choreography. As part of the experience, each student will perform a 60-min show.
Children will get to experience and learn street dance styles, from the oldest to the latest which will feature break dancing and other traditional hip hop dance styles. Each month there will be a new choreographed dance routine.

Improve your green thumb! Our local Master Gardeners will teach you about a variety of different topics and answer questions from participants. For workshop topics call 518-3131. Free to all students with student ID.
Cost is $5 per person or free to students with student ID.
Arm yourself with foam weapons and defense gear, including swords, shields, bows, spears, and more. Then pick up skills and enjoy some excellent medieval and Norse-inspired games, some history of warfare, weapons, civilization and a lot of fun! All weapons will be pro-vided. Cups and helmets encouraged but not required. No program November 27 and December 25.

Teens will be granted access to the fitness center without a parent/guardian presence upon completion. Teens will learn proper form, technique, the importance of body awareness and safety. Participants will leave with a developed workout to get them started on their own. Regular fitness center fees apply upon completion.
Learn the basics of archery in a fun and safe environment with proper techniques of shooting a bow and arrow. Compete with fun activities, make new friends and have a blast! Equipment provided. Space is limited. Preregistration is strongly recommended. No program September 7.
Cost is $20/$40 per month or drop in for $6/$12 per class.
Zumba® Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. The instructor will break down the dance steps, add games, activities, and cultural exploration elements into the class structure. Zumba® Kids incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, teamwork, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, cultural awareness. No program on November 26 and December 24.

Need to do some holiday shopping? Drop off your children so you can finish all those last minute holiday errands. Children will participate in games, crafts and more. Preregistration is encouraged. Lunch will be provided.
Highland Recreation Complex and Southwest Recreation Complex

Ages: Ages 3 years old-5th Grade
Kids will have blast playing in the gym, doing fun activities, and more. The Snack Shop will be open for pizza, drink, and snack purchases. Child registration form required for each participant. Register for the season for faster check-in and discounted rate (Highland Only). Younger children are offered separate activities in the preschool room and must be potty trained.
Highland: No program on October 23, November 27, December 25 and January 1. Cost is $70/$140 per season or drop in for $6/$12 per person
Southwest: No program on September 25, October 23 & 30, November 27, and December 25. Cost is $5/$10 per session
Learn the basics of caring for children such as feeding infants and toddlers, changing diapers, first aid, CPR, and choking rescue. The fee includes the Safe Sitter manual and completion card.
