The Largo Community Center offers day trips and overnight trips throughout the year. Reservations are now being taken for Discover Old Florida coming up November 19-21.
Discover new sights during our upcoming Discover Old Florida 3 day, 2 night trip. Reservations are now being taken at the Largo Community Center. Price includes transportation, hotel, all admissions and 3 dinners. Per person price based on double occupancy. Single supplement - $125, additional $200 deposit due at registration. Final payment due Oct 15th.

EARLY BIRD DINING TO SALT ROCK GRILLE, INDIAN SHORES
Thursday, September 9 3:30 – 6:30pm $6/ $11

Salt Rock Grill is a legendary beach landmark that has a burning passion for delectable food, enticing drinks and pleasurable surroundings. They have an Early Bird menu with your choice of over 8 different entrees that also includes a salad and dessert for only $15 or order off the regular menu. Dinner in on your own.

GULFPORT FRESH MARKET, GULFPORT

Come check out the Gulfport Fresh Market located in Gulfport’s historic Waterfront District. It offers a variety of independent shops, boutiques, galleries and a large cluster of restaurants, all within easy walking distance. A wide variety of foods are available, including locally-grown and organic produce when available, breads, cheese, desserts, candy, jams, sauces, local honey, olives, prepared foods and much more. Hand-made bath and body products, flowers and pet products are another mainstay. Local authors are often on hand and a master knife and tool sharpener on site will work on your knives as you shop.
BBQ AND BEACH DAY AT FORT DESOTO, TERRA VERDE

Enjoy a wonderful day at beautiful Fort Desoto. Fort Desoto was named one of the top 10 beaches by Trip Advisor. You can enjoy a dip in the water, fish at the pier, explore the fort, do some bird watching or just sit back in your lounge chair and read a book. Eileen and her kitchen crew will be cooking up an amazing BBQ lunch just for you. Price includes transportation, shelter rental and BBQ lunch. Bring your own lounge chair and fishing equipment.

Get ready to shop til you drop as we head out for some retail therapy. We’ll start at the Beall’s Outlet in Indian Rocks and then on to Home Shopping Network (HSN) Outlet Store in Seminole to check out the bargains and early lunch. Afterwards we head to Ollies Bargain Outlet in St. Pete for additional bargains. Make those holiday shopping lists and save big! Lunch and shopping are on your own.
Premium Day Trip

Come with Eileen and see the sights in Tarpon Springs that you never knew were there. There is so much more than just the Sponge Docks. Learn how Tarpon Spring got its name and about the early settlers. We’ll take a tour or the Victorian mansions of the rich and famous and hear some interesting stories of the “Venice of the South”. Visit the
Crying Icons at St. Michael’s Chapel and learn about this famous site. You’ll view the mural dedicated to “Mother Meres”, a Germany immigrant who left her mark not only in Tarpon Spring but in Clearwater as well. Learn about Hamilton Disston who saved Tarpon Springs from Bankruptcy and so much more. Finish the day with dinner at a local Greek Restaurant complete with Greek Music and Belly dancing. Transportation and admissions included. Lunch and Dinner are on your own.
