Would you like to learn archery? Join Coach Joseph Pike, a Level-3 United States Archery Association Archery Instructor, for this beginner adult archery class. You’ll learn to safely handle and shoot an arrow with a bow, increase hand-eye coordination, strengthen your upper body, improve your focus and confidence, and have loads of fun.
*Registration required by 5p the day before class begins. *First time class participants must be there 45 minutes before start of class so that instructor can give you an overview before physically using bows.

Combining badminton, tennis, and table tennis, this fun sport is the latest sports craze sweeping the country. Its rules are simple to learn, and the game is perfect for all ages and athletic abilities. Paddles and balls are available for use.

Come learn the fastest growing sport in America. Pickleball is a cross between ping pong, badminton and tennis. It is relatively easy to learn and offers good exercise without being too strenuous. Lessons are for all skill levels. Equipment is provided. $10/$20

The Largo Slow Pitch Softball league is a great place to go out, get exercise, meet friends, and get some competitiveness going. Monday nights is Men's, Tuesday has a Men's league and a brand new Women's league, Thursday is Men's, and Friday's are co-ed. All leagues are 8 game seasons.
The cost for the league is $345 a team + $25 ASA fee.
The Largo Flag Football has grown into a very competitive and exciting league for all. The Monday Night league has become so competitive that we have created another separate league on Tuesdays that is for the over 35 crowd and for the not as competitive teams.
$370 per team for 8 games plus playoffs for top teams.
This class reinforces and applies the fundamentals of basketball. Focus will be on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship through drills and informal scrimmaging. Skills taught are dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and team play.
This recreational program will emphasize fundamentals, skill development, sportsmanship, fun, and a better understanding of basketball. Practice will be on Tuesdays and games will be on some Tuesdays and Saturdays. Game times will be assigned based on assigned team, games pay be played at Highland Rec and other cities around Pinellas County. We are working with City of Dunedin, Pinellas Park, and Safety Harbor to give the children more team to play against.

Big Wave Run Club is an empowerment program for children of all fitness levels. We transform traditional running games and drills into powerful life lessons. Parents know when their children are with us, they are getting a great workout, building strength of character, and making new friends!
Champions in Motion offer fun and exciting cheerleading for all levels ranging from ages 4 to 17. This program is designed to empower young athletes by means of providing a safe learning environment for exercise, fun, friends, and a positive team experience.

This recreational program will emphasize fundamentals, skill development, sportsmanship, fun, and a better understanding of flag football. Practice will be on Monday/Tuesdays and games will be on Wednesday/Thursdays. Game times will be assigned based teams. All games and practices will be located at Southwest Recreation Center.
Players will receive a jersey when teams are assigned. Mouth guards are required.
This program reinforces and applies the fundamentals of volleyball. The focus will be skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship through drills and informal scrimmaging.

We will be playing various cities in Pinellas County to give our players more competition and a wider verity of teams to play.
This league will practice once a week Location will be announced soon. Games will be on both Friday nights and Saturday mornings where the locations will vary!

This is a great program for those kids interested in track and field. Children from Largo will team up to run against friends and rivals from other local cities. Program includes one track meet per month at an off-site location (will require travel). All participants will get an official team shirt and ribbons for their events.
