Adventure Camp Gives Your Teens a Chance for Fun Field Trips!

Parents, are you still looking for something for your teens to do this summer? Teen Adventure Field Trips are back and will give your 11-17 year olds a chance to have fun at a variety of locations throughout the county on select Fridays through August. Registration must be completed and paid in full at least a week prior to each camp. Sign up online now or visit Highland Rec to register in person. 

Adventure Island
Fri 6/3, 8:30am-4pm, Sign up by 5/26
$45/$56 or $20/$25 for pass holders
It will be fun in the sun at Adventure Islands’ 30 acres of water slides.  All-day dining certificates are available for an additional $29.99.  

Offshore Fishing/Alligator and Wildlife Discovery Center
Fri 6/10, 7am-4pm, Sign up by 6/2

Experience a half-day of offshore fishing followed by a trip to John’s Pass to feed the alligators.  Campers are asked to pack a lunch for this trip.  

Parasail, Jet Ski, and Mini Golf

We’re going on a parasailing and jet skiing adventure on the Gulf of Mexico then head over to play mini-golf.  Campers are asked to pack a lunch for this trip or bring money for food purchases.

The Lift Adventure Park and Wakeboarding

Run and jump, and slip and slide on the water inflatables at the Lift Adventure Park with wakeboarding scheduled for the afternoon.  There will be a variety of food trucks on-site for food purchases.  You may also bring your own packed lunch.

Helicopter Tour & Dolphin Racer Speedboat

Take off waterside to view the picturesque St. Pete Pier, Treasure Island and John’s Pass through Tampa Bay Aviation.  Afterward, we’ll head over to the Dolphin Racer Speedboat.  Campers are asked to pack a lunch for this trip or bring money for food purchase.

Empower Adventures

For the adventure seekers, there will be zip lining, a 200 ft suspension bridge and a fun rappel while exploring Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve.  Lunch will be provided.
