Mobile Recreation
Our Mobile Recreation Trailer, Play Express, is a mobile trailer filled with games, sensory bins sports equipment, puzzles, and more suitable for all ages, skill levels, and interests. The Play Express was created to reach all of Largo with accessible recreation, regardless of age, ability, or location. Come and check out Play Express at a neighborhood park near you! All of our mobile recreation activities are free to participate in.

What should I expect?
To have the most fun during our Play Express events, we ask that all participants use our games and sports equipment within the area of our trailer in the park. This is a family fun activity, and all children should be supervised during play! Lastly, always check here or on our social pages to make sure that our event is still happening. We may cancel due to rain or unforeseen circumstances on the day of the event. We can't wait to see you all out at a park soon!

Kiwanis Club of Largo/Mid-Pinellas Partnership
On February 7, 2022, the Kiwanis Club of Largo/Mid-Pinellas presented the City of Largo Recreation, Parks & Arts Department a check for $10,000.00 to support the outreach plan for the Play Express. This helps us outfit the trailer with some STEM activities, more sensory activities, toddler activities and more.
