Host Your Event

Largo Central Park is a beautiful, 70-acre park located in the heart of Largo. Its rolling grounds and fountains have set it apart as one of the finest parks in the county. The park is available for Co-sponsored events, ONLY.  Applications are accepted on a yearly basis.

To host a corporate event, family picnic or other private event, please choose a facility or park from our Facilities Directory. 
Largo Central Park is not available for private rental events.

Co-Sponsorship
Does your organization want to make a difference in the community by hosting a large community event? We want to help you achieve this goal by extending an invitation for you to apply to become one of the City of Largo's Co-Sponsored events to be held at Largo Central Park, The Central Park Performing Arts Center, Largo Community Center, Highland Recreation Complex and the Southwest Recreation Complex.

City Co-Sponsorship assists approved organizations with the costs of their event by waiving a portion of the City's indirect expenses. It includes a waiver of the park rental and equipment available through the Recreation, Parks & Arts Department. Co-Sponsored groups remain responsible to pay all direct City expenses such as police, staff, permits, licenses, etc. Under the Co-Sponsorship guidelines, all applicants have an equal opportunity to apply for City Co-Sponsorship. The City of Largo accepts up to 12 Co-Sponsored events each fiscal year. (Fiscal Year runs October-September).

Applicants must re-apply annually and will be approved on a yearly basis. Applications MUST be complete in order to be considered. The Special Events Committee (comprised of team members from various supporting departments) will review all Co-Sponsorship applications.

(Please note that events are not permitted in Largo Central Park during the month of December and all applications must be received at least 90 days before your event date).
